Early in the morning on January 1st the Llaima Volcano in southern Chile erupted and has continued to spew lava. This video was taken by some locals in the small town of CuracautÃn, which is about forty miles north east of where I lived at one point. I could see the volcano from the city where I lived but I never saw anything like this.
