BACK IN UTAH

We love having our own place again. It’s fun to be a guest in a hotel or in the home of someone close but I’m never entirely comfortable for very long without my own space. Becca and I arrived in Salt Lake at one o’clock Tuesday afternoon and went immediately down to Provo to begin looking at apartments. Aunt Emma was very kind and dropped the car off for us after keeping it at her house all summer long. We ended up renting the second place that we saw and as of yesterday we’ve been all moved in. Special thanks to Dan and Sarah Taylor for helping us with a bunch of the loading. We now live on the top floor of an apartment building so everything had to be lugged up three flights of stairs. Once things are unpacked we’ll post some pictures of our new place so all of you can see it.

LAST NOTE FROM BRAZIL

Time flies when you’re having fun. Brazil has been a whirlwind adventure more often than not and we are both very, very glad that we came. This week we rented a car and went off on our own to a little town in the state of Rio de Janeiro. We found a wonderful little place right on the water with one of the most gorgeous views I’ve seen in my life!! Becca and I definately want to go back there some day.

We’re coming back to the USA on Monday and we’ll be in Salt Lake at noon on Tuesday. Although we’ve really enjoyed Brazil, we’ll be glad to get back to our lives. Cross your fingers for us since we’ll be looking for an apartment later that day on Tuesday.
